ACME Solar Holdings Commissions Final 3.3 MW to Shapar Wind Project in Gujarat

ACME Solar Holdings Limited confirmed the commissioning of an additional 3.3 megawatts (MW) of wind power capacity at its Shapar site in Gujarat. This update was shared by the company on June 23, 2025, through an official communication with the stock exchanges. The work was carried out by ACME Pokhran Solar Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ACME Solar.

Project Now Fully Commissioned

This commissioning marks the final phase of the wind power project at Shapar. The project had previously seen 2 stages of commissioning, 26.4 MW on May 28, 2025, and 19.8 MW on June 13, 2025. With the additional 3.3 MW, the total installed capacity at the site now stands at 49.5 MW.

Operational Renewable Capacity 

With the completion of this project, ACME Solar’s total operational renewable energy capacity has increased to 2,829.5 MW. This figure includes the company’s cumulative renewable energy assets across different locations in India.

The company issued this update in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The intimation was submitted to both BSE Limited (Scrip Code: 544283) and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited

ACME Solar Holdings Share Price Performance

As of 10:07 AM on June 24, 2025, ACME Solar Holdings share price was trading a ₹248.15, a 1.04% increase, with a 4.48% increase over the past 6 months and a 2.43% decline over the past year.

Conclusion

The commissioning of the final 3.3 MW marks the completion of the Shapar wind project. ACME Solar’s total operational capacity now stands at 2,829.5 MW.
