Textiles and chemicals player, Trident Limited, has set May 27, 2025, as the record date for its interim dividend for FY25. On May 21, 2025, Trident has declared an interim dividend of ₹0.50. The company further stated that the interim dividend will be paid within the statutory timelines.

What Does Trident Record Date Mean for Shareholders?

As Trident has set May 27 as the record date for its interim dividend, meaning that May 26, marks the last day to buy Trident shares to become eligible for the interim dividend. Further, any shares bought on or after May 27 (record date), won't be eligible for the interim dividend.

Trident Q4FY25 Earnings Overview

Trident Limited has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025, highlighting solid growth across its operations. For Q4 FY25, the company reported consolidated revenue of ₹1,883 crore, reflecting a 12% increase quarter-on-quarter and 11% year-on-year. EBITDA stood at ₹264 crore, up 15% QoQ and 18% YoY, while net profit rose significantly to ₹133 crore, marking a 67% increase QoQ and doubling compared to the same period last year.

On a full-year basis, the Yarn division delivered a strong performance with consolidated revenue of ₹3,612 crore, an 11% rise from FY24. The Home Textile segment posted ₹3,968 crore in revenue, growing 2% year-on-year. However, the Paper and Chemicals business saw a decline, with FY25 revenue at ₹1,008 crore compared to ₹1,146 crore in the previous year. Reinforcing its commitment to sustainability, Trident enhanced its solar power capacity by 11.02 MWp, reaching a total of 51.92 MWp, contributing to a reduced carbon footprint and greener operations.
