At 11:00 am, the BSE Sensex plunged 0.10%, reaching a level of 73,810. The Nifty 50 index is down 0.14% to the 22,370 level. On the Sensex, Axis Bank, State Bank of India and HCL Technologies were among the top gainers, whereas Kotak Mahindra Bank, Hindustan Unilever and Bajaj Finance were among the market draggers.

Some of the noteworthy volume movers are as follows:

Fluidomat Ltd:

Experiencing a remarkable surge in trading volume of 15 times, Fluidomat Ltd shares surged 20% upper circuit to Rs 660.10 on the BSE from its previous closing of Rs 550.10. The company manufactures fixed-speed and variable-speed fluid couplings. Fludiomat is an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS-ISO 45001:2018 certified company. It manufactures a range of fixed-speed and variable-speed fluid couplings for industrial and automotive drives up to 3500 KW.

Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd:

Witnessing a substantial 8-fold surge in trading volume, the Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd shares plunged 12%, reaching an intraday low of Rs 1,620 on the BSE. The company is a diversified financial services group providing a wide range of banking and financial services including retail banking, treasury and corporate banking, investment banking, stock broking, vehicle finance, advisory services, asset management, life insurance and general insurance.

DCB Bank Ltd:

Recording a significant 7-fold surge in trading volume, DCB Bank Ltd shares witnessed a notable climb of around 5% today. The company is a new-generation private sector bank with 352 branches across 19 states and 3 union territories. It is a scheduled commercial bank regulated by the Reserve Bank of India.

Vodafone Idea Ltd:

Experiencing an impressive 6-fold surge in trading volume, Vodafone Idea Ltd shares surged over 3% today. The company Vodafone Idea is one of the leading telecom service providers in India. The company is engaged in the business of mobility and long-distance services and trading of handsets & data cards.
