Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 09 April, 2024

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 285 points or 0.39% at 75,045, while the Nifty-50 was up around 80 points or 0.35% at 22,747. About 1,815 shares have advanced; 1,129 declined and 103 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Infosys Ltd, HCL Technologies Ltd and Tech Mahindra Ltd while the top Sensex losers were JSW Steel Ltd, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Reliance Industries Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.28% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.49%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Godrej Properties Ltd and Mphasis Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were Sharda Motor Industries Ltd and Sterlite Technologies Ltd.

The BSE Realty Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Energy Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index gained by 1.86%, up by Godrej Properties Ltd and DLF Ltd while the BSE Energy Index is down by 0.09% dragged by Confidence Petroleum India Ltd and Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: JTL Industries Ltd, KP Green Engineering Ltd and Sobha Ltd.
