Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 24 April, 2024

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 270 points or 0.36% at 74,008, while the Nifty-50 was up around 71 points or 0.31% at 22,439. About 2,204 shares have advanced; 814 declined and 115 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were JSW Steel Ltd, Nestle India Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Asian Paints Ltd and Titan Company Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.54% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.77%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Rajesh Exports Ltd and Castrol India Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were 360 One Wam Ltd and Data Patterns (India) Ltd.

The BSE Metals Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Telecommunication Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Oil & Gas Index gained by 1.10%, up by Jindal Steel Ltd and NMDC Ltd while the BSE Telecommunication Index is down by 0.65% dragged by Vodafone Idea Ltd and Tejas Networks Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Cochin Shipyard Ltd, Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd and Aegis Logistics Ltd.
