STL and Archtop Came Together to Bolster Fibre Internet in The US

On April 30, 2024, Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL), a leading optical and digital solutions company, announced its successful partnership with Archtop Fiber. Under the partnership, Sterlite Technologies will support the development of Archtop’s expansive multi-gigabit fibre Internet network spanning over 2,500 miles across the Northeast region of the United States.

Sterlite Technologies Limited and Archtop Fiber have been working together over the past 2 years to develop mission-critical optical solutions tailored to bring the fastest, most reliable Internet solutions to underserved markets across New York’s Hudson Valley and beyond.

Additionally, STL and Archtop Fibre have inked a new contract that will enable STL to provide more optical solutions and support Archtop’s network construction efforts. STL will offer the Internet provider its signature OptoBlaze and OptoBolt products in addition to its optical cables with loose-tube, ribbon, and high-fibre count designs.

The OptoBlaze product from STL is a pre-terminated solution, and the OptoBolt product is a simpler plug-in-a-box solution that reduces field labour and adds adaptability to network architecture. Smaller form factor products were delivered by STL using its innovative design, and faster delivery to Archtop’s Kingston, New York headquarters was made possible by its recently opened Palmetto Plant in Lugoff, South Carolina.

With this arrangement, Archtop Fibre will be able to further its objective of closing the digital gap in underprivileged parts of the Hudson Valley and the Northeast by providing much-needed, cutting-edge Internet services that will enable communities to take advantage of opportunities provided by technology. In order to facilitate this extensive network expansion, the alliance also demonstrates STL’s dedication to quality, faster lead times, and innovative design.
