However, there can be no assurance or guarantee that the investment objectives of the scheme will be achieved. Refunds are subject to 20% tax if they are redeemed within a year. Returns that exceed Rs 1.25 lakh in a fiscal year are subject to 12.5% tax if they are redeemed after a year.
