UPI is an instant payment system introduced and developed by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) that executes instant money transfers between two parties.

Applying for an IPO has become much easier with the introduction of UPI. All you need to do is enter a UPI ID with either of the NPCI approved apps/UPI handles and select it as your payment option while applying for an IPO. 

To ensure your IPO application process is completed without any interruptions, make sure that your UPI ID features in the list approved by NPCI.

As you all know, from Feb-22, NSE & BSE introduced the T+1 settlement cycle in the Cash Segment in a phased manner as per the SEBI guidelines.

W.e.f 28-Sep-22:

  • 326 more securities (total of 761) of NSE will be added into T+1 settlement
  • 470 more securities  (total of 3163) of BSE will be added into T+1 settlement
  • Important points for stocks under T+1 settlement in Cash segment:

  • The stocks traded will be settled on T+1 day. 
  • The MTF (Margin Trading Facility) Pledge Request must be authorized by 9:00 PM on T day for MTF funding.
  • Auction settlement (if any) will happen on T+2 day.
