South Indian Bank posted a net profit of ₹342 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, marking a 19% increase compared to ₹288 crore in the same period last year.

Income Sees a Healthy Rise

The bank’s total income during the January–March quarter of FY25 rose to ₹2,946 crore, up from ₹2,621 crore in the fourth quarter of FY24.

Full-Year Performance

For the entire financial year 2024–25, South Indian Bank recorded a 22% growth in net profit. The profit rose to ₹1,303 crore from ₹1,070 crore in the previous year.

Dividend Announcement

The bank’s Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹0.40 per equity share (40%) with a face value of ₹1 for the year ended March 31, 2025. This is subject to shareholder approval.

Stock Performance

As of May 15, 2025, South Indian Bank share price closed  at ₹27.80 on the NSE, with a quarterly dividend amount of ₹0.08 per share.
