Infrastructure company NCC Ltd announced its financial results for the fourth quarter (Q4) ending March 31, 2025. The company reported a 6% increase in its net profit, even though revenue from operations slightly declined compared to the same period last year.
NCC Ltd’s net profit for Q4 FY25 stood at ₹253.8 crore, up from ₹239.2 crore in Q4 FY24. This marks a healthy 6% growth in profit year on year.
However, revenue from operations dipped by 5.5% to ₹6,120.9 crore in the latest quarter, compared to ₹6,484.9 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. This indicates a fall in the overall income generated from the company’s core business activities.
The company’s EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation) rose slightly to ₹556.5 crore from ₹550.3 crore in Q4 FY24, showing a 1.1% increase.
More importantly, the EBITDA margin—a measure of operating efficiency—improved to 9% in Q4 FY25 from 8.5% in Q4 FY24. This means that despite lower revenue, the company managed to control costs and improve profitability.
During the financial year FY25, NCC Ltd secured fresh orders worth ₹32,888 crore, including changes in project scopes. The company’s consolidated order book now stands at ₹71,568 crore, showing a strong pipeline of upcoming projects.
On a standalone basis, the order book is at ₹62,471 crore as of March 31, 2025. This strong backlog indicates the company has enough projects in hand to drive future growth.
The board of directors has recommended a dividend of ₹2.20 per equity share (110% of the face value of ₹2) for the financial year 2025. This dividend will be paid after receiving approval from shareholders.
Although the results were declared after market hours, the NCC share price ended the trading day at ₹229.30 on the BSE, up by ₹3.05 or 1.35%. At 10:24 AM, it was up 2.57% and was trading at ₹109.46.
NCC Ltd’s Q4 results reflect stable performance despite revenue challenges. Improved margins, a strong order pipeline, and a recommended dividend suggest that the company is maintaining its growth momentum and remains optimistic about prospects.
