Indian markets ended the previous session with modest gains. On November 3, 2025, the BSE Sensex rose 39.78 points (0.05%) to close at 83,978.49, while the NSE Nifty 50 gained 41.25 points (0.16%) to finish at 25,763.35.

Investor focus on November 4 will be on the telecom, pharma, and financial sectors, as key companies announce strategic investments, capital plans, and earnings updates.

Cipla Ltd

Cipla announced the acquisition of a 100% stake in Inzpera Healthsciences Ltd for approximately ₹110.65 crore, valuing the transaction at an enterprise value of ₹120 crore. The deal, which will make Inzpera a wholly owned subsidiary, is expected to be completed within a month, subject to customary closing conditions.

Bharti Airtel Ltd

Bharti Airtel reported a 14.2% sequential rise in consolidated net profit to ₹6,791 crore for Q2 FY26. Revenue increased 5.4% QoQ to ₹52,145 crore, and EBITDA grew 6.2% to ₹29,561 crore, supported by robust performance across its mobile and enterprise divisions.

Gland Pharma Ltd

Gland Pharma posted a 12.3% year-on-year growth in net profit to ₹184 crore for Q2 FY26, driven by sustained momentum in its injectables segment. Revenue advanced 5.8% YoY to ₹1,486.8 crore, while EBITDA stood at ₹314 crore with stable margins of 21.1%.

Godfrey Phillips India Ltd

Godfrey Phillips delivered a strong performance in Q2 FY26, with net profit rising 22.9% YoY to ₹305 crore, aided by improved margins despite flat revenue at ₹1,632 crore. EBITDA climbed 13.4% to ₹314.5 crore, expanding margins to 19.3% from 17%. The company declared an 850% interim dividend (₹17 per share).

Shareholders holding the company’s shares in their demat accounts as of the record date will be eligible to receive the dividend payout.

Bharti Hexacom Ltd

Bharti Hexacom, a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, reported a 66.4% YoY surge in net profit to ₹421 crore for Q2 FY26, fueled by higher ARPU and growing mobile data consumption. Revenue rose 10.5% YoY to ₹2,317 crore, while ARPU increased to ₹251 from ₹228 last year, driven by rising smartphone adoption and a 27% jump in average monthly data usage.
