Investors looking to earn dividends from public sector companies, Coal India, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, and RailTel Corporation of India, must purchase shares in their demat account by November 3, 2025. These stocks will start trading ex-dividend from November 4, meaning new buyers after that date won’t be eligible for the announced interim dividends.

Coal India Ltd

Coal India has declared an interim dividend of ₹10.25 per share, equal to 102.5% of its face value. The record date is November 4, making November 3 the last day for investors to buy shares and qualify. This announcement comes ahead of the company’s upcoming quarterly earnings.

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd

Mazagon Dock will pay an interim dividend of ₹6 per share, or 120% of its face value. Investors need to own shares by the end of today’s session to receive the payout. The company has maintained a consistent dividend policy in recent quarters.

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd

RailTel has announced an interim dividend of ₹1 per share, translating to 10% of its face value. Like the others, the ex-dividend date is November 4, so investors must hold shares before the market closes on November 3.
