
EaseMyTrip, one of India’s leading travel-tech platforms, has been awarded the Punjab Government’s tender to manage pilgrimage travel under the Mukh Mantri Tirth Yatra Yojana. The project aims to facilitate seamless and comfortable travel experiences for over 2,00,000 devotees from Bathinda to Amritsar over the next 12 months.
On October 30,2025, the Government of Punjab officially launched the Mukh Mantri Tirth Yatra Yojana at Dhuri, with the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhagwant Mann inaugurating the initiative. EaseMyTrip will operate and oversee the pilgrimage tours from all Bathinda constituencies to Amritsar, ensuring safe, dignified, and well-coordinated travel for participants visiting the Golden Temple and other significant religious destinations.
Through its dedicated pilgrimage vertical, EasyDarshan, the company will deploy advanced technology and operational expertise to deliver a smooth and spiritually enriching travel experience for all devotees.
Speaking on the partnership, Rikant Pittie, CEO and Co-Founder of EaseMyTrip, highlighted that the collaboration exemplifies how technology-led private enterprises can support public welfare initiatives.
He noted that this initiative is not just about managing travel but about connecting communities and preserving India’s cultural and spiritual heritage through modern, accessible systems.
