Under the new initiative, the Bihar government will provide an additional ₹3,000 annually to beneficiaries of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, raising the total yearly assistance to ₹9,000 per farmer.
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, introduced by the Union Government, currently provides ₹6,000 annually to small and marginal farmers in three instalments.
