
Farmers across India are eagerly anticipating the 21st instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, under which ₹2,000 is set to be credited directly into beneficiaries’ accounts. The next instalment is expected to be disbursed in November 2025.
Launched in February 2019, the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana provides eligible farmers with ₹6,000 per year, distributed in three equal instalments of ₹2,000 each. The scheme uses the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, ensuring that funds are transferred directly to the farmer’s bank account, reducing delays and middlemen.
Special disbursements of the 21st instalment have already been made for farmers in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand, following the devastating floods and landslides in September 2025. Additionally, the instalment was released to Jammu and Kashmir on October 7, 2025.
