Bank of Maharashtra Limited's Board of Directors has declared and approved a dividend of ₹1.50 per equity share for the financial year 2024-25.
On May 8, 2025, Bank of Maharashtra share price (NSE: MAHABANK) opened at ₹51.01 and closed at ₹50.45, down by 0.98%. The stock price touched its day’s low at ₹50.19.
The Board of Directors of the Bank, at its meeting held on April 25, 2025, has recommended a dividend of 15% on the Bank’s equity shares, equivalent to ₹1.50 per share of face value ₹10 each, for the financial year 2024–25.
The record date for determining shareholders eligible to receive the dividend is Friday, May 9, 2025.
For the quarter ended March 31, 2025, the bank reported its performance with total business rising by 15.30% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹5,46,979 crore. Total deposits grew by 13.44% to ₹3,07,143 crore, while gross advances increased by 17.76% to ₹2,39,837 crore. Net profit for Q4 FY25 stood at ₹1,493 crore, reflecting a YoY growth of 22.62% and a sequential quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) increase of 6.16%. Operating profit for the quarter grew by 14.03% YoY to ₹2,520 crore and showed a 9.41% improvement on a QoQ basis.
For the full financial year ended March 31, 2025, the bank's net profit surged by 36.12% YoY to ₹5,520 crore compared to ₹4,055 crore in FY24. Operating profit for the year stood at ₹9,319 crore, marking a YoY increase of 16.41% from ₹8,005 crore. The bank also recorded a healthy rise in Net Interest Income (NII), which grew by 18.77% to ₹11,666 crore in FY25, up from ₹9,822 crore in the previous year.
Bank of Maharashtra Ltd is involved in offering banking services. The bank's segments include Corporate/Wholesale Banking, Treasury, Retail Banking and Other banking operations.
Following the final dividend of ₹1.40 per share declared in May 2024, the Board has now recommended a higher dividend of ₹1.50 per share for FY25,
