State Bank of India Board of Directors has declared and approved an interim dividend of ₹15.90 per equity share for the financial year ending March 31, 2025.
On May 14, 2025, State Bank of India share price (NSE: SBIN) opened at ₹805.75 and closed at ₹802.40, up by 0.08%. The stock price touched its day’s high at ₹807.50.
State Bank of India has declared a dividend of ₹15.90 per fully paid equity share of ₹1 each (i.e., 1590%) for the financial year ended March 31, 2025.
The record date to determine eligible shareholders is Friday, May 16, 2025. As per Regulation 10(1) of the State Bank of India General Regulations, 1955, the register of members will remain closed from Saturday, May 17, 2025, to Monday, May 19, 2025 (both days inclusive).
The dividend will be paid on May 30, 2025.
For the financial year FY25, the bank reported a strong operating performance with operating profit crossing the ₹1 lakh crore mark, reaching ₹1,10,579 crore, a YoY growth of 17.89%. In Q4FY25 alone, the operating profit stood at ₹31,286 crore, marking an 8.83% increase YoY. The bank’s net profit for FY25 rose 16.08% YoY to ₹70,901 crore, while Q4FY25 net profit came in at ₹18,643 crore, reflecting continued profitability momentum.
Net Interest Income (NII) for FY25 witnessed a modest YoY increase of 4.43%. On the liabilities front, the bank’s total deposits grew 9.48% YoY, supported by a 6.34% rise in CASA deposits. As of March 31, 2025, the CASA ratio stood at 39.97%.
