Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd achieved a major festive milestone, delivering over 1 lakh vehicles between Navratri and Diwali 2025.
This marks a robust 33% year-on-year growth compared to the same festive period last year. Managing Director and CEO Shailesh Chandra attributed this success to strong consumer sentiment and growing demand across the company’s vehicle portfolio.
The company’s SUV lineup played a key role in driving sales during the festive season. The Tata Nexon recorded more than 38,000 unit deliveries, registering an impressive 73% year-on-year growth.
The Tata Punch followed closely with 32,000 unit deliveries, reflecting a 29% increase over the same period last year. The continued popularity of these models highlights Tata Motors’ position in India’s fast-growing SUV segment.
Tata Motors’ electric vehicle segment also posted strong numbers, with over 10,000 EVs retailed during the 30-day festive period, representing a 37% year-on-year growth. This reinforces the company’s leadership in India’s EV market and underlines the rising consumer acceptance of sustainable mobility solutions.
