Recently, Malika Kutub, a veteran business leader with nearly two decades of experience across consumer internet and media, announced her move from JioStar (formerly Disney+ Hotstar) to InMobi. Based in Singapore, Kutub will assume the role of Head of Client Partnerships for the Asia-Pacific region.
Announcing her transition on LinkedIn on November 2, Kutub looked back on her six-year journey at the streaming giant, describing it as a “defining chapter in India’s digital story” that was “intense, rewarding, and full of lessons.”
Explaining her decision to join InMobi, Kutub said the move aligns with her preference for organisations that “build their own products and shape ecosystems.” She praised InMobi’s ability to adapt and thrive, noting that the company has “navigated every wave of digital change with quiet confidence, long-term conviction, and a culture I deeply respect.”
Kutub brings extensive experience in monetisation, business strategy, and adtech to the global mobile marketing leader. During her tenure at JioStar/Disney+ Hotstar, she served as Executive Director for International Markets and Alternate Channels, spearheading efforts to build and scale the platform’s business across diverse global regions.
Prior to her role at JioStar, Kutub held a leadership position at Network18 Media & Investments Limited, where she focused on strengthening client and agency partnerships. Her strategic approach emphasised aligning innovative adtech solutions with measurable business outcomes.

Her expertise and regional insight position InMobi to further deepen client relationships and drive growth across APAC.
