Google has leased around 617,000 sq ft of office space at Atrium Place in Gurugram, according to The Economic Times. The property is a joint development by DLF and Hines. The deal is among the largest office space transactions in India this year and adds to Google’s ongoing expansion in the country’s corporate real estate market.
The lease is part of Google’s long-term plan to increase its presence in the National Capital Region (NCR). Earlier in 2025, the company took up 550,000 sq ft of office space from Table Space, a managed office provider, in another Gurugram project. Details of the latest lease’s duration and cost have not been made public.
Google follows a detailed evaluation process before finalising any location, with only a few developers meeting its criteria.
Office leasing activity in the Delhi-NCR market has been strong this year. Data from Cushman & Wakefield shows that the region recorded 5.1 million sq ft of gross office leasing in the third quarter of 2025.
This shows a 10% rise compared to the previous quarter and a 56% increase compared to the same period last year. Demand has remained consistent across technology, financial, and consulting firms.
In May 2025, Google IT Services India renewed its office lease at Bagmane Capital Business Park in Bengaluru for another 5 years. The 870,000 sq ft office covers 2 towers, Kyoto East and Kyoto West and carries an annual rent of about ₹90 crore. The company pays around ₹86.25 per sq ft per month, with a security deposit of ₹38 crore.
In February 2025, Google India and Google Cloud extended their lease in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) for a five-year term. The 110,980 sq ft space at First International Financial Centre is rented at ₹3.55 crore per month, with a 15% rent hike scheduled after three years.
