
The Maharashtra government has commenced the disbursal of the October instalment under the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana from 5 November.
Eligible women beneficiaries will receive ₹1,500 directly into their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.
To ensure continuity, the government has made e-KYC mandatory, with a completion deadline of 18 November.
The state has urged all beneficiaries to complete their e-KYC by 18 November to continue receiving monthly assistance.
The process was made compulsory in September, following a government resolution to verify beneficiary data and eliminate duplication.
The e-KYC can be completed online through the official portal.

As per news reports, Aditi Tatkare, Maharashtra’s Minister for Women and Child Development, confirmed that the October instalment of ₹1,500 has been credited from 5 November. She noted that payments are being transferred directly to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts to ensure transparency and efficiency.
Launched in July 2024, the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana aims to support women aged 21–65 years from families with annual incomes below ₹2.5 lakh.
The scheme provides monthly financial aid of ₹1,500, empowering women through financial stability and social security.

As the October payments begin, beneficiaries are reminded to complete their e-KYC before the 18 November deadline to ensure uninterrupted benefits.
