Associated Textile Rubber Products Limited (ASTER) was originally, Associated Textile Rubber Products Private Limited which was incorporated in 1991 and later was converted into Limited Company in 1994. After becoming a Limited Company, in 1995 Associated Textile Rubber Products Limited had offered its shares to public via an IPO to the tune of Rs.2.20 Crores and get listed in Bombay Stock Exchange(BSE) as well as Madras Stock EXchange(MSE). After public issue, ASTER was in full swing of operations of production and was doing well till 1999.ASTER was into manufacturing of Aprons & Cots under the brand name "ASTER" which is consumables for the Textile spinning Industry. These products are used for drawing, drafing and for making yarn with uniform thickness and strength. These consumables are integral part of producing quality yarn and in turn making quality textile. The name of the company has been changed from Associated Textile Rubber products limited to S R K Industries Limited in 2011 by way of postal ballot process. During the Financial year 2009-10 Mr. Rakeshchand M. Jain had joined the S R K Industries Limited. He has a vast experience in trading of textile products and Housing Project industry and hence brought his resources as an expert and the company entered into the Business of Trading in various Textile products, and in result, S R K Industries Limited is turnaround, and its turnover from mere Rs. 23 lacs in FY: 2008-09, have achieved a turnover of Rs.366 lacs with the net cash profit of Rs. 1.75 lacs. In the second term with him for FY 2010-11, company had achieved a sale to the tune of 745 lacs with a net cash accrual of Rs.1.39 Lacs. During the consecutive of third year upto 3rd quarter (FY 2011-12], Company have achieved a record turnover of Rs.790.31 Lacs with a net profit of Rs.1.31 lacs. The company has plans to revive the manufacturing of APRONS and COTS with more capital infused. The Company wants to increase its business in Textile Products which is the main stay of the company presently and increase its sales and profits. Also with help of new Directors, the Company is planning to venture into the lucrative Real Estate Sector in Mumbai [Maharashtra] and in around Tamil Nadu, where its new Board is in process of identification some projects which can be undertaken in association.
