On November 4, 2025, MOIL Limited announced that it had achieved its highest-ever October production of manganese ore since its inception. The state-owned miner continues to deliver strong operational results backed by consistent growth and exploration efforts.

MOIL Registers Record October Output

MOIL recorded a production of 1.60 lakh tonnes of manganese ore in October 2025, reflecting a 9.1% increase compared to the corresponding period last year. This milestone marks the company’s best-ever performance for any October month since its establishment. 

The sustained growth highlights MOIL’s operational efficiency and commitment to meeting domestic manganese requirements.

Strong Growth in FY’26 Performance

For the first 7 months of FY’26, MOIL achieved a total production of 11.04 lakh tonnes, up by 8.5% over the corresponding period last year. The growth underlines the company’s steady progress and continuous focus on maintaining production momentum through efficient resource management and technological improvements.

Record-Breaking Exploration Efforts

Between April and October 2025, MOIL completed an impressive 57,275 metres of exploratory core drilling, its highest-ever achievement for the period. This record exploration reflects the company’s long-term strategy to strengthen its resource base and enhance future production capabilities.

As per the exchange filings, Chairman and Managing Director Shri Ajit Kumar Saxena expressed optimism about the company’s consistent upward trend. He highlighted that the MOIL team remains committed to maintaining its performance and achieving another strong year of growth.

On November 4, 2025, MOIL share price opened at ₹369.90 on NSE, below the previous close of ₹370.40. During the day, it surged to ₹369.90 and dipped to ₹362.00. The stock closed at ₹364.05 by the end of the day. The stock registered a moderate decline of 1.71%.
