Waaree Energies Arm Starts Production at 2 New Solar Module Line Manufacturing Facility

Waaree Energies has begun production at a new solar module facility run through its wholly owned subsidiary, Sangam Solar One Private Limited.  

The company said the unit started operating on 15 November 2025, as per the exchange filings. The plant is set up in Samakhiali, Kutch, an area where the company already has other activities. 

Capacity Installed 

The new facility has 2 manufacturing lines. Each line has an annual capacity of 750 MW, bringing the total to 1,500 MW. The company has not shared details on the types of modules that will come out first or how quickly the lines will scale to full use. 

Role of the Subsidiary 

Sangam Solar One Private Limited has managed the setup, testing, and commissioning work for the facility. This includes preparing the site, installing machines, and checking the production lines before the start date. No further information has been provided on staffing levels, supply timelines, or dispatch schedules.

Waaree Energies Share Price Performance  

As of 17 November 2025, at 12:36 PM, Waaree Energies share price was trading at ₹3,299.20, a 1.48% decrease from the previous closing price. 

Conclusion 

With this facility now active, Waaree Energies has added 1.5 GW of annual module manufacturing capacity. The unit broadens the company’s overall production base and adds another manufacturing point within Gujarat.
