Bosch reported a net profit of ₹554 crore in Q2FY26, rising 3.4% from ₹536 crore a year earlier. Strong demand for automotive parts and consumer electronics supported this growth. Revenue from operations increased 9.1% to ₹4,795 crore, compared to ₹4,394 crore in Q2FY25.

Total expenses rose 8.9% to ₹4,274 crore, mainly because the cost of materials consumed grew 10.6%.

Management Commentary

Guruprasad Mudlapur, President of Bosch Group in India, said the company saw healthy demand in the passenger car and off-highway segments. He added that Bosch’s focus on innovation and customer needs helped it deliver stable performance despite challenges in the industry.

Segment-wise Performance

  • Automotive product sales grew 11.9% on strong demand across categories.
  • Power solutions increased 9.5%, driven by higher sales in passenger car and off-highway markets.
  • The two-wheeler business surged 81.8%, supported by increased demand for exhaust gas sensors after OBD2 norms took effect on April 1, 2025.
  • Mobility aftermarket rose 3.7%, led by diesel and filter system sales, though GST changes impacted turnover.
  • Beyond mobility sales fell 14.4%, mainly due to the divestment of Video Solutions, Access and Intrusion, and Communication businesses in May 2025, which had boosted profit in Q1FY26.

Conclusion

Bosch delivered steady growth in Q2FY26 with higher profit and revenue, supported mainly by strong auto, power solutions, and two-wheeler demand. Although rising costs and GST changes created some pressure, the company expects the festive season and stronger consumer sentiment to lift demand going into the next quarter.
