The ambitious Viksit Uttar Pradesh 2047 Vision is a strategic blueprint to transform the state into a developed and globally competitive hub by the 100th year of India’s independence.

The government is advancing reforms under the Home, Home Guard, and General Administration departments to establish an administration that is transparent, accountable, and fearless.

Looking ahead to 2047, the vision seeks to achieve global standards in road safety, realise a Zero Accident Vision, and ensure fully digital, transparent governance systems. The integration of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and e-governance platforms will make administration not only faster but also more citizen-friendly.

Short- and Long-Term Objectives

The vision outlines clear short-term goals for 2029–30. These include expanding CCTV and AI surveillance, ensuring women’s safety through smart policing, and monitoring development projects through integrated dashboards.

Medium- and long-term priorities include balanced regional development, universal digital connectivity, and smart energy management systems.

Economic Aspirations

The broader vision also sets an economic target of reaching a $6 trillion economy by 2047, supported by a targeted annual growth rate of 16%. This growth would elevate per capita income significantly and ensure that Uttar Pradesh becomes a major contributor to India’s GDP.
