ACME Solar Holdings Limited has successfully commissioned the first 52.5 MW phase of its 300 MW Sikar Solar Power Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
With this commissioning, the company’s total operational capacity has increased from 2,540 MW to 2,592.5 MW. This marks another significant step in ACME’s commitment to expanding its footprint in India’s renewable energy sector.
Located in one of India’s highest solar irradiation zones, the Sikar Solar Project spans approximately 1,300 acres in Bikaner. The project is designed for maximum efficiency and is expected to be a key contributor to India’s green energy goals. Clean energy generated at the site is pooled at inverter stations and stepped up for transmission via a dedicated 220 kV single-circuit transmission line to the Bikaner-II grid.
Once fully operational, the entire 300 MW project is projected to generate around 780 million units of clean energy annually. This clean power will be sold on power exchanges on a merchant basis, with allocation based on optimal commercial utilisation. The project is financed by PFC Limited, reinforcing the confidence of financial institutions in ACME Solar’s sustainable initiatives.
On May 9, 2025, ACME Solar share price opened at ₹207.00 and closed at ₹212.01, down by 1.45%. The stock price touched its day’s low at ₹207.00.

With a strong infrastructure setup and merchant market potential, the project not only enhances ACME Solar’s operational capacity but also reinforces its position as a major player in the solar energy landscape. As more phases come online, the project is expected to make a significant impact on clean energy availability in the country.
