Rane Computers Consultancy (RCCL) was incorporated in 1990 as a private limited company and is managed by chairman Dinesh A Rane. The company was converted into a public limited company in Mar.'92. RCCL offers a wide range of software solutions to customers in India and abroad and also high-quality computer training for various levels of management, in addition to regular computer courses. The one-point computer centre is located at Borivali, Mumbai. The training / data processing centres are at Goregaon, Mulund, Dadar and Borivali, all in Mumbai. Apart from software development, RCCL's activities include hardware supply, training programmes and data processing. The hardware includes a wide range of micro and mini computers, CAD workstations, plotters, networking and communications. The company also supplies peripherals like printers, stabilisers, special-purpose add-on cards, etc. The company conducts training courses in the areas of computer fundamentals, computer operations and programming, RDBMS, case tools, CAD and DTP for computer professionals. It has designed courses for banking professionals and the corporate sector. RCCL's data processing services have been utilised by MTNL, BSES, BMC, Indian Institute of Bankers, etc. The company earned foreign exchange worth around Rs 62.91 lac in 1993-94.
