The intra-city logistics platform Porter has continued its strong upward trajectory in FY25 after witnessing growth of ~57% in FY25. This follows an impressive 56% YoY growth in FY24. It is important to note that with growing revenue, the company has turned profitable for the first time as mentioned in the report by Entracker.

Porter’s FY25 Financial Performance

Porter’s company’s revenue from operations surged to ₹4,300 crore in the fiscal year ending March 2025, up from ₹2,734 crore in FY24.

According to internal figures, nearly 99% of Porter’s revenue was derived from its goods transportation services, with the remainder coming from platform fees and ancillary services.

FY25 marked a key financial milestone for the Bengaluru-headquartered startup, which recorded a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹54 crore, thanks to operational efficiency and cost-cutting measures. In FY24, the company had already managed to reduce its losses by 45%, bringing them down to ₹95.7 crore.

Porter Valuation Update

Porter has raised over $332 million in funding to date. Its most recent round was a $200 million Series F in May 2025, led by Kedaara Capital and Wellington Management. The company had earlier raised $100 million in 2021, with Tiger Global at the helm.

Following its recent unicorn round, Porter also facilitated a full exit for early investor Peak XV, delivering a return of more than ₹1,200 crore on an initial investment of ₹116 crore—a tenfold return.

About Porter

Founded to streamline last-mile logistics, Porter offers a comprehensive, tech-enabled platform that supports businesses, especially micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), in optimising their intra-city transportation needs. The company now operates in over 20 Indian cities.

Conclusion

While Porter initially enjoyed a largely uncontested space in intra-city logistics among VC-backed players, the market dynamics are shifting. It now faces growing competition from major players such as Uber, Delhivery, and Rapido, particularly in the two-wheeler delivery segment.
