Job Title: Executive – Information Security

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

 

 

What you will do:

 

●        Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

●        Develop and maintain secure coding standards, guidelines, and best practices, and provide training to developers to ensure adherence to these standards.

●        Work with teams to ensure security  assessments are on track as per the plan.

●        Stay up to date with the latest application security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, and provide recommendations for improving the organization’s security posture.

●        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., OWASP, SANS) and assist in security audits and assessments.

●        Perform manual and automated security testing of applications, including code reviews, static and dynamic analysis, and penetration testing.

●        Provide guidance to the application team on application security best practices, support remediation effort and track open issues and follow up to ensure remediation.

●        Assist in the development and maintenance of security-related tools, technologies, and processes to enhance application security.

 

Who you are:

 

●        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

●        Proven experience (3+ years) in application security roles.

●        Strong understanding of security review processes, VAPT, and threat modeling.

●        Proficiency in security testing methodologies and tools.

●        Ability to develop and enforce secure coding standards and guidelines.

●        Effective communication and training skills for educating developers on security best practices.

●        Experience assessing the security of third-party applications and libraries.

●        Current knowledge of application security threats and industry best practices.

●        Familiarity with compliance standards and security audits.

●        Proficiency in developing and maintaining security tools and processes.

●        Expertise in Application Security, Secure Code Review  and Penetration Testing.

●        Strong understanding of WAF features and capabilities, including rule creation, policy management, and threat analysis.

●        Preferred experience with bug bounties, responsible disclosure, and Hall of Fame acknowledgments.
